The lyrics began with “Children, you laughed cynically”, then transitioned to “You believed them, the lies they told you”, and ended with “All the stars are crumbling and we are fossilized.”
I then created a puppet like person (I have added some mended wounds on the material).
It looks both like a child and an adult. It implies what exists inside of you and me. The person is shown in overlapped images because we want to bring the figure of an escaping person before the audience and to show the cycle of struggles behind every hustling person.
The line “The galaxy flying in the sky” in the lyrics reminded me of a sense of helplessness especially through Helen’s performance.
Therefore, I used “falling” to showcase this scenario.
The lollipop is an implication of our lives revolving around something sweet and luscious.
It is not until the last moments, when the money-spouting carousel and the train emerged,
you suddenly realized that you have also become one of the manipulators.
